Favourite Music Finds [June]

June has been a full and wonderful month! We celebrated my hubby’s 30th birthday, went away to the mountains, had company, and bought a karaoke machine!! And you can rest assured that I made some epic new playlists so that we do the karaoke machine justice… Well, to be clear, it’s only the kids that end up singing along, but you should see this thing - it has wheels and disco lights and it’s making all my dance party dreams come true! #truth

Here are a few of my favourite finds from June…

The Way I Talk Morgan Wallen

Shane and I are both big Morgan Wallen fans and we super duper love this song! In my opinion, it’s got all the aspects of a more typical country hit, without the same amount of “pop” added in.

Neon Moon Brooks & Dunn (with Kacey Musgraves)

I am a big fan of Kacey Musgraves and her voice on this reboot of a Brooks & Dunn classic is just amazing! And I’m really not sure how I’m only just adding this to my music library now?!

Good Lord Abby Anderson

There doesn’t seem to be an abundance of songs about brown eyed men and I can’t help but think of my very own man when I hear this song! It’s definitely more pop/country but sometimes that’s just what I’m in the mood to listen to, and I do love songs that remind me of my Shane!

The Git Up Blanco Brown

Ive been on the Old Town Road fan train for a while but this might just be my new favourite untraditional Country hit! And yes, I do the dance when this comes on! 💃🏼 Not sure what I’m talking abou?! Then you must head to Blanco Brown’s Instagam feed to see the different versions people have shared… its one of my favourite things on the internet right now!! ;)

Whiskey in a Teacup Dean Brody

Shane says this song reminds him of me… And he’s probably right! lol
